Paris 2005
Returning from China we chose to stop in Paris on the way back and met Sandy and Janice with the following pictures:

View from our luncheon table at the Eiffel Tower Jules Verne Restaurant.

A contented group after a $1,000.00 luncheon.

At the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

A walk and talk about the $1,000.00 luncheon!

Only two short blocks away.

Spring in Paris es evident everywhere....

Picasso's Goat!

The oenology specialist at work in a local grocery store!

Perfect wine pairing is "pain" essential!
London Side Trip....
London and the British Airways Ferris Wheel the London Eye.

It's Spring in London, is just not quite as magnificent as Paris.

The typical photographic shot of Big Ben.

A bit more color in the gardens of the Parliament.
Back to Palace of Versailles....
Let the tour begin....!

...around to the back of the Palace....

...it seems to go forever!

Sandy enjoying every minute of the gardens.

Janice, still having a good time, four miles of walking, and still going!
Now, on to the Seine and a river cruise....
Lots of parks along the river.

The majestic Eiffel Tower from the river.

...statues everywhere...

...and apartments of such elegance...

...and bridges following bridges...

...and, of course, Notre Dame....
Back onto the Paris tour....
Inside Napoleon's tomb is the "Unknown Soldier for WWI".

In the Rodin Gardens at his home.

From the bottom of the gardens looking up to the Rodin Museum.

And, of course, the Louvre Museum courtyard from inside the museum.

The dining room of Napoleon's apratment in the Louvre Museum.

The main chapel at Sainte Chapelle.

...stained glass is unbeleivable to describe...

...over the doors of the chapel.
Paris is worth the time and money!
