In January and February 2006 we went to Maui and stayed at the Westin Kaanapali Resort (time share) with Dennis and Wanda for their Anniversary and Bob's birthday. The weather was cooperative and we went snorkeling just about every day and some days even more often. We walked every day and on one day we took the ferry to Lanai for touring, walking, some lunch and little snorkeling. The following pictures will help show some of the wonderful times we had. We had a wonderful and relaing trip. Here we are standing in fornt of the Hotel Lanai to show mother that not much has changed in 25+ years.
Charlene and Wanda looking from the verandah of the hotel waiting for hte Seafood Buffet dinner at the Kapulua Bay Hotel. The hotel has been sold and will be torn down to be replaced by condominiums.
More of the same hotel looking out towards the ocean.

We went for Sunday brunch at the Prince Hotel in Makena. This was the view from the table.
We stepped out into the courtyard to watch the Koi at the Prince Hotel in Makena.

This is one of the gardens of the Four Seasons at Manuloa Bay.
More gardens of the Four Seasons.
The weather and splendor of both the smell of fragrant flowers and their beauty made for a lovely tour of the grounds.
In the center of the island is the Hotel Lanai, where mother stayed in the early 1980's teaching the hostess to make martini's with "4 parts vermout and 1 part gin", something was lost in the directions.
This is the boat ride back to Lahaina. We saw many whales, dolphinse and porpoises. What a great day!
This is looking towards Maui and specifically Lahaina and the cruise ship Celebrity Galaxy to the left.
We were fortunate to capture this, of many sunsets, enjoyed by all.
